Lucas H wrote a review Mar Copenhagen, Denmark 14 contributions. Flawless visit. To begin with, we booked a week later than our actual arrival day, and we only learned this on the same day, as we arrived.
We immediately expected the worst, but the hotel accommodated our situation and installed us in the Vila next to the hotel, without any extra costs.
Just like that! No panic, no irritation. The hotel is so well decorated, with a perfect blend of modern architecture and old fashioned style.
Anyway that was our impression. Room was spacious enough for two adults, comfy beds and nice size bathroom. Breakfast was great! Everything felt fresh and organic.
The bio-yoghurt specially is really delicious, so that is a must. Croissants were also yummy. Location is also fine.
And only minutes walk from main central train station. Date of stay: March Trip type: Traveled as a couple. Helpful Share. Scott W wrote a review Mar Oulton Broad, United Kingdom 81 contributions 25 helpful votes.
We booked this hotel last minute due to our previous booking at another hotel being cancelled. This hotel was lovely, very warm and welcoming with friendly staff.
Our room was a lot bigger then we expected and spotlessly clean. We were surprised with Mountain Views too! The breakfast is a fantastic selection of organic meats, cheeses, fruit and breads with some hot options.
We was worried the hotel maybe a little too far out but it is only a min walk to the old town. We didn't get chance to use the Spa or Massage Room due to lots of pre planned tours we had already booked.
We will definitely book here again when we next return and use the Spa as it has great reviews. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!! Good room - Great breakfast - Nice spa.
The hotel location is not much to write home to mom about - but its a short walk to the old city. The hotel staff are extremely cordial, the rooms are clean, comfortable and of a good size.
The staff gave us some great recommendations for restaurants - and their website was the most informative that we have seen during our travels.
But the real highlight - their breakfast buffet is off the charts - there are innumerable fresh baked bread options with fresh croissants, several types of honey, meats, cheeses, several types of yogurt, granola, made to order eggs, great selection of juices, dates wrapped in bacon, sweet goods Nuff said - we loved the buffet - it was of a variety and quality that we have not seen elsewhere.
We also utilized the spa which was very nice, but no one else in the hotel appeared to know it was there. Just a really great stay.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Check in was so easy, we received a lot of information on the town and sites, maps, etc.
The lady that helped us also called and made a reservation for dinner for us that night and canceled another reservation for us. The heated bathroom floor was a nice touch.
Also coffee, tea and water in the room that was refreshed every day. A welcome drink was offered to us the afternoon we arrived, which was another nice touch.
The breakfast would bring me back to this hotel on our next trip to Salzburg. Anything you could want for breakfast, everything is so fresh, the staff is replenishing items constantly.
We ordered the omelet a couple of days too, fantastic. The Sauna and steam area was awesome, we had planned to visit a spa somewhere in the area, but instead took advantage of the sauna area here instead.
We did like that this hotel was a short walk from the train station and to the historical center. And finally, every morning there was information provided on the breakfast tables with info of the day in Salzburg.
We wouldn't have known about the awesome Thursday market that was right around the corner if it weren't for this little booklet. Above the engraving stands the original Auersperg coat of arms, displaying an aurochs German: Auerochs e or Ur , Slovene: Tur.
